Test smoke alarms and CO detectors: We will ensure that these alarms are working. Whether it is solely a battery-operated alarm or wired in, we will be regularly testing these to ensure they are functioning properly. If your Smoke Alarms or CO Detectors require replacement, rest assured that our pricing is competitive with all your local retailers.

Inspect & Maintain Water Softener: If you have a water softener, we will make sure to check it monthly and add more salt to it if needed. If the salt is not already on location, rest assured that our prices are competitive.

 

Inspect plumbing for any active leaks: The earlier we find a leak, the quicker we can take care of it.
Run water in less used areas: If you have any unused bathrooms or other plumbing in your house, we will regularly run the water to it.


Clean & Sanitize Your Showerheads: We have remedies for cleaning and sanitizing your showerheads. If your showerheads need to be replaced, we carry high performance and environmentally friendly showerheads at competitive prices.

Clean Windows & Window Tracks: Typically, we provide this service in early spring. This service is priced based on the number of windows in your home. Our Home Repair Concierge will always be able to give you a same day estimate.

Have AC Inspected and Serviced. Prior to turning your AC on each year is a good time to make sure your cooling systems are working properly. Our Home Repair Concierge will always be able to give you a same day estimate so you can be sure it will function properly even on the most sweltering days!
 

Reverse Ceiling Fans to Create a Down Breeze. If you have ceiling fans in your house, we can reverse its spin to create a cooling downward breeze. This can help you to cut back on your AC usage. We will typically perform this function twice a year. Once before winter, and once before spring.


Winterize Exterior Water Faucets: Our Home Repair Concierge will turn off your outside hose bibs and cover for the winter. Prior to spring, we will remove the covers and turn the hose bibs back on.
This will keep your pipes from freezing.


Check For Cracks in Windows: We will walk around the outside of your house and check your windows for any cracks. The summer is the best time to replace a window because the weather is nice and warm.

Repair or Replace Broken Window Screens: If you enjoy opening your windows for a bit of fresh air, having intact screens is important. They prevent pests from getting into your house. Some screens can be repaired with a patch, other times they need to be fully replaced.

 

Inspect Siding of Home: We will walk around your house and look closely at the siding on your home. If we see any chipping, peeling, or other signs of damage, we will be sure to provide you with an estimate for repairing or replacing as needed. The paint on your siding is designed to protect the actual siding itself. Any chips or peeling of the paint leaves an opportunity for damage.

Inspect Roof for Loose or Broken Shingles: We will get on a ladder and climb on top of your roof to inspect for damage to your roof. This includes loose, broken, or missing shingles. We will report all finding to you and provide you with suggested repair or replacement recommendations.

Inspect Ceilings for Any Roof Leaks: We will also check the integrity of your roof by inspecting your interior ceilings for any signs of leaks. They will start out as small water stains, and if it is an active leak, the stain will grow larger over time. We will be sure to give you an estimate for minor repairs before the leak gets out of hand and requires more extensive repairs.

Check Caulking and Grout in Bathrooms and Kitchen: We will make sure the caulk and grout in your kitchen and bathrooms is still intact. If we see any holes starting to form, we will be sure to replace

those small crevices from taking in water.

 

Clean Out Dryer Vent and Hose: Our Home Repair Concierge will perform this task twice a year. Dryer lint is extremely flammable and can cause fires if not removed regularly. Not removing the lint from the vent also makes the dryer work harder and it will fail quicker over time.

Test Water Heater's Pressure Release Valve: The pressure release valve is there to keep your water heater from becoming a bomb. Therefore, it is extremely important to make sure that the release valve is operating properly. Our Home Repair Concierge will perform this task monthly.

Check Driveway and Sidewalks for Cracks: We will look for any hazards created from cracks in your driveway and sidewalks. Our Home Repair Concierges will provide you with recommendations for repair solutions.

Inspect Toilets for Worn-Out Valves and Flappers: Our Home Repair Concierges will inspect your toilets monthly to ensure they are in good working order. If you have a toilet that seems to run on forever, the flapper may need to be replaced. You will save water by replacing it.


Test Sump Pump: We will test your sump pump to ensure it is working properly. The last thing you want is for heavy rain to fall and flood your basement.
 

Inspect and Clean Bathroom Ceiling Vents/Fans: Your bathroom ceiling fans suck up the air in the room. While they do this, they pull in all the dust in the air. Eventually, the fan will collect enough dust to slow it down. We remove the fan cover and wipe down the blades and vacuum the fan.
